Clarkson with brazed superheated copper boiler with combustion chamber by Bishop-Ellis (Model Engineers) Ltd, 1983 stamped Tested BE 603 with fittings including twin water gauges, pressure gauge, safety, blower, injector, whistle and clack valves. Chassis details include four cylinders with Walschaert's valve gear and rocking levers, footplate controlled draincocks, fluted motion, mechanical lubricator, twin eccentric driven feed pumps and by-pass and injector, dummy brake gear, sanding boxes and right hand axle boxes (the left hand boxes with oil feeds to the coupled axle boxes), riveting and lamps. Tender details include hand feed pump, removable tool boxes, water cock, steps, hand and lamp irons, finished in LMS red livery and lining -- 15 x 79½in. (38 x 202cm.).
