Certificate: Andreas Woywood, London, March 6, 2003, with photographs attached
Letter: John and Arthur Beare, London, April 2, 2003, stating that after a brief examination the violin also resembles the early works of Giuseppe Guarneri "filius Andreae".
Dendrochronology: John Topham, Redhill, UK, June 21, 2001. The tree-ring analysis report dates the youngest growth rings on the bass side of the top to the year 1684 and the treble side to 1677. The report shows that the wood used for the treble side of the Guarneri top significantly matches the tone wood used on a 1699 Antonio Stradivari known as the Kustendyke. Topham makes note that the exceptionally strong cross matching and statistical analysis suggests that the treble side on the table of the Guarneri and the bass side of the 1699 Kustendyke were fabricated from the same tree.
