MARKED SUMIN, WITH THE MAKER'S MARK OF THE THIRD ARTEL, ST. PETERSBURG, 1908-1917
Rectangular with rounded corners, the body enameled with translucent pink over a wavy guilloché ground, within opaque white borders, in three sections: the central hinged cover opening to reveal a fitted mirror with compartment, the left with lipstick compartment, the right with two coin slots, each with laurel borders and diamond-set thumb-piece, marked throughout
