On a naturalistic circular base, realistically cast as a bear attacking a man, the man with a hatchet in his left hand, a broken rifle to his side, on a later octogonal marble base, signed on base 'SCULP. LIEBERICH' and with foundry mark 'FABR. C.F. WOERFFEL'
