MIDDLE KINGDOM-SECOND INTERMEDIATE PERIOD, CIRCA 2055-1600 B.C.
Standing foursquare with high brows, short tail between its legs, on an integral sledge-shaped base curving up at the front to meet its wide nose, painted in red and black with a butterfly on its back, a lotus flower over its rump, another on the back of its head and on either side of the neck
