FINE BORDEAUX OF A NEW JERSEY GENTLEMAN
A section of 11-bottle lots, all taken from a much larger consignment sold in 2011 and in January of 2012. All of the wines in this section were bought on release by the current owner and kept in pristine custom-built home storage. The consignor just couldn't resist a taste of each one!

Levels: six bottom neck, five very top shoulder; lightly oxidized capsules

"The '82 Branaire Ducru was lovely at a recent dinner, having retained plenty of ripe currant fruit character, but also showing a charming nutty side. On the palate the wine is very elegant, with firm but supple tannins and a soft, silky texture. Holding well - very nice. CC, At a Brasserie Ruhlmann BYO, September 2010"
