Fric, Naturalien-Handlung in Prag. and two Zootom: Institut der Unversitat au Graz, the species given on the lables are: Euglypha alveolata, Arcella vulgaris,Amoeba proteus, Pseudodiffulgia gracilis, Trinema enchelys, Heliosphaera inermis and Orbulina universa.

Lot Essay

Fric started his business of dealing in natural history specimens and models in 1862 and had a strong international client base; he was the agent in Austria-Hungary for the Blashkas brothers, Leopold (1822-1895) and Rudolf (1857-1929), whose glass models were made for natural history museums worldwide.
