The shaped rectangular top with brass-bound edge and later tooled leather writing surface above a serpentine case fitted with three drawers and opposing sham drawers, the sides with applied figural and strapwork mounts, on cabriole legs mounted with cabochon chutes and foliate sabots, stamped ELLAUME under left drawer, the drawer bottoms stamped IW
