Of flask form, the polychrome banded neck edge by pendant poppies, flanked by lug handles, the body finely painted and hand-tooled in white slip with a seated nymph steadying a putto as he balances on three upturned torches, a host of enthusiastic putti looking on from below, the reverse with a putto balancing on an arrow amongst stars, the oval foot edge by budding vine and gilt devices, within gilt rims
