Gouache heightened with gold and silver on paper, the officer wearing white cloth jama and red cap stands with his arms bent before him, a tulwar with silver hilt balanced against his body, lower left hand corner with later attribution to Miskin in red naskh, laid down between minor borders of nasta'liq in clouds reserved against gold and polychrome floral illuminated ground and upper illuminated headpiece on wide buff margins, stamp in lower left hand corner, areas of scuffing
