Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with raised gold hour markers in 1950 and its subsequent sale on 22 September 1950. Furthermore delivered with fitted brown presentation box.

Reference 2424 was in production from 1946 until the early 1950s. The model is distinguished by its unusual flame-shaped lugs, rendering it a very elegant look.
