A PALE CELADON JADE 'FISHERMAN AND BOYS' GROUP
18TH CENTURY
The bearded fisherman is delicately carved wearing a straw hat, standing in a pool of shallow swirling waves detailed with a leaping carp. The figure is depicted placing a fish into his woven basket, accompanied by two young boys, with tall millet branches and rockwork in the background. The stone is of a pale celadon tone.
