A SMALL CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL CIRCULAR BOX AND COVER
QIANLONG INCISED FIVE-CHARACTER MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
The cover is decorated with stylised taotie masks, all reserved on a pale turquoise ground. The lower part is enamelled with two sets of confronted archaistic phoenix. The gilt base is incised with the five character mark.
2½ in. (6.4 cm.) diam.
