A WHITE JADE RUYI SCEPTRE
LATE QING DYNASTY
The ruyi-shaped head is delicately carved with a bat in flight above branches bearing the Three Abundances, sanduo, comprising finger citron, pomegranate and peach. The handle is carved with a bat and a leafy vine bearing gourds. The stone is of an even pale tone.
