TWO PUDDINGSTONE SNUFF BOTTLES AND A SNUFF DISH
18TH/19TH CENTURY
Each bottle is of flattened and rounded form and is carved to each side in relief with circular cartouches. The stones of the bottles and dish are suffused with a striking pattern of large rounded 'pebbles' that range from ochre, grey, brown, and black tones.
The taller 2 3/8 in. (6.1 cm.) high overall, stoppers (3)
