A FAMILLE ROSE PAINTED ENAMEL SNUFF BOTTLE AND DISH
19TH CENTURY
The bottle is delicately enamelled to one side with a cat surrounded by flowering peonies and a butterfly. The reverse is decorated with a pair of magpies perched on prunus branches. The stopper is painted with an insect, and the dish is painted with a floral bouqet. There are Qianlong blue enamel four-character seal marks to the base of the bottle and dish.
