A YELLOW JADE PENDANT; AND A 'CHICKEN BONE' JADE PENDANT
QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
The yellow jade pendant is carved with archaistic dragon scrolls, and the stone is of an even yellow tone. The lobed 'chicken bone' jade pendant is carved to one side with a lotus flower, and the reverse is carved with the characters 'yi pin qing lian'. The opaque stone ranges from a pale creamy tone to a dark brown colour, with a network of darker veining.
