A PAIR OF FAMILLE ROSE 'BOYS' BOWLS
EARLY 20TH CENTURY
Each bowl has deep rounded sides rising to a flaring mouth rim and is supported on a short foot. The exterior of each bowl is decorated with scenes depicting five boys playing with auspicious objects, with two smaller boys holding lanterns in the distance. Each bowl has a Qianlong iron-red four-character seal mark to the base.
