A MING BLUE AND WHITE 'LOTUS' BOWL
ZHENGDE UNDERGLAZE BLUE FOUR-CHARACTER MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1506-1521)
The bowl has deep rounded sides rising from a short tapering foot. The exterior is painted with clusters of lotus leaves and flower-heads.
8¼ in. (20.7 cm.) diam.
