TRANSITIONAL PERIOD, CIRCA 1630-1650
The vase is of tall flaring form and is painted with a continuous landscape scene with figures in a sampan separated by a fort and cloud scrolls, above a band of lingzhi borne on leafy scrolls and a further band of lappets.
