of footed, swollen ovoid form applied with scrolling handles, the covers surmounted with pierced trefoil finial, painted by C Beresford Hopkins, with highland cattle drinking and eating in a birch woodland setting, in shades of brown, green, blue and yellow on a pale green ground, highlighted in gilt printed factory marks (one vase restored) -- 31cm. high
