These two lots are the property of a knowledgeable U.S.-based collector, who has assembled a wonderful collection over the years. One of his many passions was for the best vintages of Lafite. He offers our collectors the delicious '86 as well as the very rare, exquisitely 1945, one of the legendary vintages of the last century. This is a wine that does not come up very often. Today's bottles are among the most wonderful examples I have seen in some time.
