Levels: base of neck;wine stained label; sign of old seepage; in original wooden case with broken lid.
"Most recently, at the MW Haut-Brion tasting (January 2000): now medium-deep with a relaxed open mature rim; rich chocolatey, mocha nose, opening up beautifully; sweet, soft, firmer than the '89, perfectly balanced with a rich, fragrant yet dry finish. Finally, at Penning-Rowsell's '10-year' tasting, very similiar to the previous note. Suprisingly sweet, lovely flavour, shape and texture yet with life-supporting grip (my highest mark, with Margaux and Lafite). Last tasted June 2000 ****(*) 2005-2025." MB, Vintage Wine
