The mystical poems of Nizami, followed by Mas'ud Sa'd Salman Sawaji's Khorshid wa jamshid, Persian manuscript on paper, 598ff. plus three modern fly-leaves, each folio with 21ll. of nasta'liq script arranged in two columns, with further text written on the diagonal in marginal text panels, text within gold, black and blue rules, titles in gold naskh script, with finely illuminated polychrome headings, text panels with triangular illuminated cartouches along their border, catchwords, added frontispiece and dedication to Ghazan Khan's library, with added date of AH 690, with four later miniatures, catchwords, in stamped and gilt brown morocco binding, the two covers detached, some waterstaining

The inscription in the shamsa reads bi rasm al-khazzanah al-mubaraka al-amir (?) al-a'zam sultan Qazan Khan khallada Allah mulkahu wa dawama dawlatahu fi sana 690 tis'in wa sittami'a min al-hijra al-nabawiyya (For the blessed library of the most great amir (?) Sultan Qazan Khan, may God make his kingdom last and his rule lasting in the year 690 (sic) six hundred and ninety of the Prophet's Hijra).
