Lot Essay

Kitab al-shamil fi al-tibb is recorded as the title of two works by Ibn al-Nafis (d. AH 687) and Ghiyath al-Din Abu Sa'id bin Abi Muslim bin Abi al-Khayr (fl. ca. AH 736) (Katib Celebi, Kashf al-zunun, Beirut, 1971, vol.II, 7855 and 7856). The author and the present work appear to be unrecorded under these names.
