Arabic manuscript on gold-speckled paper, 382ff. plus 5 fly-leaves, each folio with 13ll. of black naskh script, with gold and polychrome rosette verse markers, sura headings in gold thuluth script outlined in black within cartouches, text within blue and black-ruled gold frame, marginal markers in gold thuluth script, opening bifolio with gold and polychrome illuminated margins with gold basmallahs with text on cloud bands over gold cross-hatched ground, with two other illuminated bifolios throughout, with seal impressions dated AH 1194, last folios restored, in modern brown morocco binding with flap
