Arabic manuscript on paper, 517ff. plus 4 fly-leaves, each folio with 11ll. of black naskh script on gold-speckled paper with Persian interlinear translation in red nasta'liq script between double black-ruled gold divisions, sura headings in white thuluth script on gold ground within illuminated cartouches, text within blue and black-ruled gold frame, margins with illuminated frame, marginal section markers in white thuluth script within illuminated medallions, some marginal comments in red and black nasta'liq script, opening bifolio with gold and polychrome illumination, a number of bifolios with illuminated margins throughout the manuscript, colophon signed and dated, Qur'anic text followed by prayers, in gilt and stamped morocco binding
