Arabic manuscript on gold-speckled paper, 273ff. plus one fly-leaf, each folio with 18ll. of black naskh script between black-ruled gold interlinear divisions with gold and polychrome roundel verse markers, sura headings in white thuluth script on gold ground within gold and polychrome illuminated cartouches, some words picked out in gold, text within gold and polychrome rules bordered with floral scrolls, marginal markers in gold thuluth script issuing illuminated medallions, catchwords, opening, intermediate and final bifolios with fine gold and polychrome floral illuminated borders, followed by prayers, rebound in 18th century gilt and stamped morocco binding with flap
