8°, 4 tinted lithographic plates after R.M Alexander, portrait of Horace G. Hutchinson from a photograph by J.E. Laidlay, numerous vignettes (signature cut from title, one or two stains, some scoring in pen). Original red cloth, front cover blocked in black with pictorial design, spine with gilt title and device of ribbon-tied clubs, endpapers and pastedowns with press cuttings from 1887-1891 pasted in (light stain to corner of front cover, spine a little faded).
