OF GREAT RARITY. Only one record of an institutional holding worldwide -- in the National Library of Scotland. In the first letter, the author admits that 'there is an element of absurdity in the spectacle of men of mature years driving a small ball over the green sward, or out of a bunker'. But he proceeds to explain the game in a concise manner.
