CIRCA 1920, PRINTED MARKS, PATTERN NOS. D3395/4 TO ALL
The first printed with a golfer and his caddy, inscribed 'EVERY DOG HAS HIS DAY, AND EVERY MAN HIS HOUR' (slight crazing to well)'; another inscribed 'GIVE LOSERS LEAVE TO SPEAK AND WINNERS TO LAUGH' (minor glaze crazing); the third inscribed 'EVERY DOG HAS HIS DAY AND EVERY MAN HIS HOUR' (minor surface scratching), and a footed bowl inscribed 'HE THAT ALWAYS COMPLAINS IS NEVER PITIED, HE THAT HATH A GOOD JUDGMENT WHO RELIETH NOT WHOLLY ON HIS OWN' (minor glaze crazing)
Each plate - 10¼ in. (26.6 cm.) diameter; the bowl - 10 1/8 in. (25.5 cm.) diameter (4)
