8°, title with ruled border and golf ball vignette in red, half tone plates and illustrations, a few coloured, one folding. Original black cloth, lettered in green and with front cover design of the American eagle holding a pair of clubs, pictorial dust-jacket (with a few nicks and short tears).

Edwin J.A. Woods, presentation inscription from [?]the publisher, complimenting him for being 'associated with the author in a personal capacity for many years' and for travelling 'over many miles and over many golf courses here in the East to photograph outstanding Greens while Mr. Thomas wrote the book at Beverley Hills, California'.
