Bin-soiled labels, two very bin-soiled, one stained, five lightly torn and one badly torn. Levels: two at 3 cms, two at 3.5 cms, two at 4 cms, two at 4.5 cms, one at 5 cms and three at 6.5 cms below base of cork
Vintage note: At last, a top class vintage, one that I have always thought of the end of an era. The weather conditions were ideal for blossoming in June; July and August were hot and dry followed by some rain to swell the grapes prior to an early harvest from 14 September in hot weather. A record crop of high quality wine
