Signed in gold Nihon Kuni Kyoto ju Komai sei, Meiji Period (late 19th century)
The foliate rimmed dish worked in typical Komai style in gold nunomezogan and kinsujizogan with a central roundel depicting a temple scene beside a lake, surrounded by a band of roundels containing ho-o, irises and other birds and flowers on a background of paulownia leaves, the edge with a thinner band containing maple and ginko leaves, acorns and cherry blossoms
