In the shape of an open fan, decorated in gold, silver and red hiramaki-e, takamaki-e, hirame, mura-nashiji and togidashi-e with trees in a hilly landscape, the sides with swirling waters, the interior with a fine fitted tray depicting maple trees beside a stream, bordered by stylised chrysanthemums and geometric patterns
