The later moulded brêche violette top above a pierced frieze carved with rockwork and acanthus leaves, centered by a C-scroll cartouche, on conformingly-carved cabriole legs and rectangular acanthus-carved block feet, the underside of the marble inscribed in chalk 'E3195 Congreve x Partridge', with later metal brackets, re-gilt, previously but not originally with a wooden top
34 in. (86.5 cm.) high; 42½ in. (115.5 cm.) wide; 22¼ in. (56.5 cm.) deep
