Descriptif du lot

'Meteor', which has also been known as Spirit of Speed, was originally designed as a hood ornament for automobiles and cast in a series of thirteen between 1923 and 1924. In its sleek, stylized design, the present work manifests Frishmuth's interest in the Art Deco movement.
