The hinged tulipwood crossbanded top centred by a patera, the front with foliate arabesques concealing a red velvet-lined interior with two pear-shaped tea-caddies and sugar bowl on spreading feet with gadrooned border, the detachable covers each with foliate-cast finial, each marked underneath and inside cover
