QUILCEDA CREEK
"Founded in 1978, Quilceda Creek produced world-class Cabernets in relative obscurity until eminent wine critics that began comparing this family-run operation (the uncle of proprietor/winemaker Alex Golitzin is none other than Andre Tchelistcheff) in Eastern Washington to first growth Bordeaux and cult California wineries such as Screaming Eagle and Harlan. By the time the perfect scores began to amass, Quilceda Creek has managed to draw attention to the incredible vineyard potential of the pacific northwest for the Cabernet grape. By now, all knowledgeable collectors know that a cellar remains incomplete until its houses cabernets from world-class estate, Quilceda Creek.
