GUANGXU UNDERGLAZE BLUE SIX-CHARACTER MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1875-1908)
The bowl is enamelled to the exterior with four medallions enclosing an auspicious Buddhist inscription in seal script reading Fori chang ming, translating as "The eternal light of Buddha", reserved on a lemon yellow ground decorated with scrolling lotus blooms on leafy stems.
4 5/8 in. (11.6 cm.) diam.
