JIAQING IRON-RED SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1796-1820)
The vessel is decorated to the interior centre with a medallion of lotus blooms surrounded by dense blossoming sprays and stylised scrolling foliage, all within a foliate border under the gilt rim, the exterior decorated in gilt with scrolling lotus interspersed with wan symbols and further shou characters, all reserved on a coral ground.
