THREE CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE VASES

The baluster vase is brightly enamelled with a horse and four gentlemen gathered beneath a pine tree talking to an elderly man carrying a fishing rod, the interior of the mouth is glazed turquoise, the base bears the four-character iron-red seal mark in a square Juren tang; the bottle vase is decorated with a garden setting and a pavilion in which men supervise boys at play engaged in various pursuits, three Immortals watching from a cloud, an inscription and seal mark are painted to the reverse, the neck is decorated in iron-red and en grisaille with upright lappets, pendant ruyi heads, jewels and bats, the base is drilled through an underglaze blue mark; the third vase is decorated to the central panel with birds, prunus, chrysanthemum and insects between bands of yellow ground scrolling foliage, the interior is glazed turquoise, the base bears a Qianlong iron-red six-character seal mark.
