FOUR JADE SNUFFBOTTLES AND A CIRCULAR JADE CARVING
19TH CENTURY AND LATER
The first bottle is of rounded shape with an even celadon tone; the second is of rounded flattened shape carved with raised flanges on each side, the stone is of a pale celadon tone; the third is pear-shaped with the stone of a pale celadon tone; the fourth is of a tapering rectangular shape carved to one side with a long tailed bird on a bamboo branch, the stone is of a spinach green tone; the fifth comprises concentric joined rotating rings centred with a flower head and embellished with incised key fret scrolls and an interlocking scrolling design, the stone is of a pale celadon tone.
The largest 2 5/8 in. (6.7 cm.) high, wood stand, stoppers (5)
