The cup of flared form with upright scroll handle, painted with a view named in black script, La cathédrale de St. Etienne, à Vienne, within a canted rectangular frame tooled with a border of stiff leaf, scroll and rosette motifs, the saucer with an interior scene, Vue d'une partie de l'intèrieur de la cathédrale, à Vienne., within a similar rectangular frame, the rims with a border of stylised leaves issuing scrolling vines (some very slight scratches to gold ground)
