Sugata [configuration]: honzukuri, iori-mune, deep curve, chu-gissaki
Kitae [forging pattern]: tight itame, pale bo-utsuri
Hamon [tempering pattern]: gunome with much togariba of nioi with light ko-nie
Boshi [tip]: midare-komi with togari and komaru
Nakago [tang]: two mekugiana, file marks indistinct, ha-agari kurijiri
Habaki [collar]: single silvered copper
Horimono [carving]: kakudome bohi rising just above the yokote
Nagasa [length of blade]: 48.2cm.
Koshirae [mounting]: wakizashi koshirae, the scabbard brown chirakashi, the chape rounded with inset horn, tsuba iron nanban style with stylized dragons and jewel among deeply carved and undercut waves, metal shiiremon fittings of copper with slight gilt, kozuka with buckets and umbrella in relief, fuchi kashira with epidendra, menuki of dragons
