SECOND INTERMEDIATE PERIOD, DYNASTY XVII, 1640-1550 B.C.
The stylized female depicted nude, with a narrow waist, accentuated hips and high pointed breasts, her long legs tapering toward the ankles, her arms held at her sides, the hands resting on her thighs, her triangular head with slit eyes, eyebrows and mouth, and a vertical nose, her flaring wig falling to her shoulders and along her upper back, bound by a fillet, punctuated by stippling, hatching and wavy lines, an applied necklace of three bands and incised bracelets, with dots and rosettes on her buttocks, perhaps indicating tattoos, her pudendum and navel articulated
