The large spherical body on a flat base and a wide strap handle, the flaring cylindrical spout above a molded appliqué of a winged gorgoneion, wearing triangular pendant earrings, two identical female figures standing on the vessel shoulders flanking the handle, each wearing a himation draped around her waist, her left elbow on a column, the left leg crossed over the right, each holding a phiale in her left hand, the right arm akimbo, the handle surmounted by a larger draped female figure holding a sphere in her right hand, draped in a himation over a long chiton, preserving white slip throughout
