A ROMAN BRONZE BELT BUCKLE
CIRCA 3RD-4TH CENTURY A.D.
In the form of a striding lion, with his head turned out to his left, the individual locks of his radiating mane delineated, his tail in the form of a snake coiled into a figure-eight with the scales incised, with a broad nose, the mouth partially open, a fastening hook and two posts on the reverse
