Amazing wine. Assembled from half Merlot and half Cabernet Franc, the grand vin is a deep, inky black in color, and shows a rich, perfumed nose with blackberry fruit and hints of licorice, spice, and mineral. On the palate the wine has a firm grip and lots of tannin, but a very finely-grained tannin of great sophistication and beauty. Great length V a great success." CC, April 2009
