The wines of La Conseillante are always among the best in Pomerol. On the highest plateau of that commune, not far from Cheval Blanc in St.-Emilion, La Conseillante has a high percentage of Cabernet Franc in the blend. Theres also great pedigree here: La Conseillante established a reputation in the mid-1700s, the same time the top crus of St.-Emilion were making their names.
